I had just sat down in the waiting area at the VA Hospital here in Oklahoma City, OK... while dialing my cell phone for home, ... a black man quickly walked up to me... handed me a piece of paper, and quickly walked away, out of sight.  I had no idea what it was or what it was for, since I was in conversation with my party.  I finished my call, and was real surprized to read the statement on the front!  "What You Miss By Being A Christian."  I was glad... Cause I didn't  want to miss all the fun, and good times and anything I would miss out on, by being a Christian person.  Then... I turned the page... and it hit me with powerful force.  So... Sitting there I continued to read your little "tract" you call it.  When I got through reading about my horrible doom, and the way I have been living my life, it really got to me.  So... I decided right there to silently call on Him, the Lord Jesus who died in my place and to take away my sins and change my life.  Thank you... to whosoever printed this, and the person who handed it to me.  Thank you!  For hleping me change my mind, my life and my heart!  Thank you!  Paul

I want to tell you a little story.  My husbsand went to our local K-Mart store to buy me a birthday present.  He got me a pretty housecoat.  I folded it and put it in my chest of drawers.  A few days later, I got it out and put it on.  When I stuck my hand in the pocket, I found a tract.  We thought this was a wonderful testimony for whoever placed it there!  This so richly blessed us that we want to place some tracts around ourselves.  Thank you and God bless, Paul and Brenda Wrenn

On the 15th of June, 2011, I was empting the dust bin when I came across the paper which was folded like a page of a book.  On the front where capital letters "God Loves You" and John 3:16.  I got through the tract  although some words were not clear because of wetness.  I have decided to trust the Lord.  I am 25 years old.  John Khumato

Dear Brother in Christ, I was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church, but one day while walking downtown I found  this tract on the street and picked it up, read it then bought a Bible, believed in the Saviour, repented of all my sins, got baptized and now I walk in the light.  It has been nine years now.  I have friends that were JW's that have come to Jesus, but I would like to win a lot more.  Could you send me some tracts?  I am sending you the tract that I found 9 years ago.

I received this FTL Tract in a Target parking lot from a stranger in a car who pulled up next to me and said "Do you want to find out if your a good person or not?"  He seemed like a nice guy and the question instantly intrigued me, so I said yes and read the tract.  This letter is to let you know I accept the Lord Jeus as my saviour.  Scott Goroey

I found a gospel tract in a newspaper machine.  It was laying on top of the newspaper I got today so I took it home and started reading it and it really lifted me up.  I have been so depressed and just down these past few weeks and just did not know where to turn or who to turn to but when I saw the tract I thought this must be a message to me from God!!  The tract I found was God's Message To You.  Lisa Marie Rolen

Early in the year 1933, Ford Porter was impressed to place a gospel tract in each home in Princeton, Indiana, where he pastored the First Baptist Church. He contacted all of the tract agencies he could find and obtained from them samples of their tracts on salvation. None of their tracts covered the subject to his satisfaction. The Lord laid it upon his heart to write a tract. He said: "All right, Lord, if you want me to write a tract, You will have to give it to me." He sat down and wrote God's Simple Plan of Salvation. He prayed over the manuscript for several days, making very few changes. Then he took it to his friend, Dale Skelton, owner of the Standard Printing Company in Princeton. When Brother Porter ordered 2,000 to be printed Dale, said: "Ford, I can print you 5,000 for very little more than 2,000, why don't you increase the order?"

He replied: "Dale, 2,000 is enough. I understand there are 1,800 homes in Princeton. I want to place a tract in each home and I will have 200 left over. I can get rid of them, somehow." Dale said: "You ought to let me print you more." "No, Dale, 2,000 is all I'll ever need." One can imagine the Lord smiled about that time, and said: "Ford, you just don't know how many you will need." Brother Porter had correspondence to answer from his radio program. He enclosed a tract in each letter he wrote, knowing he had 200 tracts more than he actually needed.  Suddenly, he began receiving letters asking for additional copies of his tract...50, 100, 500, and so on. Soon, his 2,000 were gone. He went back to Dale and said: "Maybe you ought to print me 5,000 after all." It was not long until he went back for 10,000, and 10,000 more...and larger quantities had to be printed as the requests continued to increase. Without solicitation, requests came for his tract to be translated into other languages. Thousands have been saved through reading God's Simple Plan of Salvation. He was quick to give God all the praise and glory for raising up a soul winning tract ministry in answer to prayer.
