distributed in one week!

This is an original idea for getting gospel tracts out in your area. The idea came from Aaron Hargis, a Bible College student. The object is to pass out 5,000 gospel tracts in a pre-determined amount of time. If you do not have 5,000 homes in your area, or your area is more rural, it is sometimes better to try to reach 5,000 individuals.

You can use this program many ways:
1. Upcoming big day at your church
2. Bible School
3. Building excitement for a new ministry
4. Sunday School Campaign
5. Just because passing out tracts and winning souls is a good thing!
Here is how it works (this is a flexible guideline):
Lets say your big day you are working for is on Sunday. We kick it off the program on the Sunday Night before with a challenge to the church family from God's word. This can be done by the pastor or myself. Then on Monday-Saturday we pass out tracts! I prefer that we have door hangers made so that we can move quicker and more efficiently. I work by myself, with the pastor or with the entire church family. No church is too large or small for me to come.
I come on a love offering only basis. If you are a church planter or small work, I am especially excited to come and help you. If you cannot afford an offering, that is fine. God has blessed me because of this work.
Things we will need to "Feed the Five Thousand":
1. Prayer
2. Gospel Tracts
3. Door Hangers
4. Street Maps
5. Place to stay for the week-- not necessary
Consider This about Gospel Tracts:
- There is no certain time or amount of time required - just whenever the opportunity arises.
- Tracts can be left anywhere or shared with almost anyone.
- There are tracts for every occasion, for every need, and for every type of person.
- Tracts can be distributed by anyone, regardless of age, sex, race, or education.
- Tracts provide an easy way to "break the ice" or "open the door" to witness.
- Tracts eliminate the problem of forgetfulness or uncertainty of what to say.
- The message, since it is printed, can be taken home, re-read and studied.
- Tracts can be passed along, and can therefore be used over and over again.
- Tracts can be mass distributed easily.
- Tracts are inexpensive and can be handed out liberally. (tractministry.com)

This is a great opportunity to create your own tract! I am looking for a "Feeding the Five Thousand" tract.
