"NOISY CHRISTIANS ARE NEEDED!"

MARK 2:1

Introduction: First we need to get Jesus in the house!  If not we are just loud and obnoxious!  In this sermon we are talking about the right kind of noise and what it will accomplish for the Lord.

Lets identify the noisy people in this story….

 The Community VS 1

 The Crowd VS 2; 12

The Carriers VS 3-4

The Complainers VS 6 

I.                NOISY CHRISTIANS ATTRACT OTHERS (vs 1-2)

A.  What Kind of Noise?

Answer: Spiritual

B.  When to Make Noise?

Answer: Spirit-Led

C.           Where to Make Noise?

Answer: Scripturally

II.            NOISY CHRISTIANS AFFECT SERVICES (vs. 2)

A.  Eventful Services (Palsyied Man)

B.  Exciting Services (Packed House)

C.  Encouraging Services (Praising God vs 12)

III.        NOISY CHRISTIANS AGREE TOGETHER  (vs. 3)

Vs. 3 says “borne of four”

A.  Same Trail:  Church

B.  Same Target:  Christ

C.  Same Task:  Compassion

IV.       NOISY CHRISTIANS ACCOMPLISH THE WORK (4-?)

   A.  Seeking Savior (Could not come nigh unto him)

   B.  Sacrificing Self (Uncovered the roof and broke it up)

   C.  Serving Sinners (let down the bed)

   D.  Seeing Salvation (Jesus saw “Their” Faith)

Closing:  when was the last time you made the right kind of noise?  We need to “noise” about what is going on here.  If nothing is going on, we need to change that so people will want to noise that something is going on.
