Revelation 19:11-16

The next event will be the return of Christ in glory. Revelation 19:11-16. Note that this event will be seven years after the coming of Christ in the air. At that time He came for the believers, when He returns in glory we, as believers, will return with Him! This is the second advent of Christ!

I. The Redeeming One coming.

A. His Portrayal.

1.  His Seat..

2. His Severity.

3. His Sovereignty  

5. His Sword

B. His Perfect Names.

1. Faithful and True.

2. "A name written that no man knew, but he himself." v12b

3. The Word of God. v13

4. King of kings and Lord of lords. v16

II. The Reason of His Coming.

A. Judgment

1. He was judged in unrighteousness.

2. He will judge in righteousness.

Acts 17:31  Jude v1 4-15

3. There will be three major judgments.

a. The Judgment Seat of Christ

b. The Judgment of Nations

c. The Great White Throne judgment

B. Justice

1. "The armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses"

2. But the armies will not join in the battle.

3. The enemy is imprisoned for a 1000 years.

III. The Rapture at His Coming!

Exciting events are in the future. Jesus is coming soon! This is not some fairy tale, this is the truth of the Word of God!

Are we ready to meet God? The rapture may come at any moment.

Then comes the terrible tribulation period of judgment upon this earth.

Jesus will return and put down the antichrist and his followers, bind Satan for a 1000 years, and establish His kingdom on this earth.

IV. The Readiness at His Coming
