“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” Nahum 1:7
This verse is one that has been on my heart over the past couple of months. What a wonderful time to be serving the Lord! The Lord does not have any economic issues, and He is still doing quite well and is providing for His servants and His ministries. He is looking for a few good men and women that will trust Him completely and surrender to His will. Have you?
God is blessing the Fellowship Tract League. In the midst of rising costs of printing and shipping, God is still providing funds for tracts to be printed by the millions and shipped around the world. After one evening service at a church in Texas, a young man came to me requesting a coin bank to collect change for tracts. A couple of weeks later he brought it by my house full and has already started over! God can use even the smallest of change to get the gospel around the world. Please pray for the shipment of 10.5 million tracts going to India. FTL currently has over 8 million printed and boxed, so please pray for the funds to finish this great project. I love it when individuals come up and give money for a roll of paper. What a great way to be a part of thousands of gospel tracts!
In the past six months the Buckners have been many hundreds of miles, traveled through sixteen states, and seen God do some amazing things. I wish time and space would allow me to relate them all. We just returned from a trip through the Midwest where we were in 17 meetings in 17 days! I am currently packing for a flight to Salt Lake City for a missions conference there. In May we will be in North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. as well as other places. We were at a supporting church in Bowling Green, KY, for services where some precious souls came down the aisle and trusted Christ. That is what the Fellowship Tract League is all about!
Recently a lady in Texas asked me what we needed. After thinking for a minute I could not think of a single thing that God has not been providing! That is not to say that we do not have any requests, but that God continues to use his servants at just the right times to take care of whatever we ought to have. Our greatest physical needs are monthly support and a vehicle that is road worthy and big enough for our family. We are currently at about 22 % monthly support, so please pray about being a monthly partner with us.
We are available for pulpit supply, mission conferences, youth events, Bible schools, and to serve in churches in whatever capacity that is needed. My wife plays the piano and we look forward to using that tool for God’s glory. God has given me a great burden for young churches and older ministries that are struggling.
