The purpose of teaching is learning.  We teach so others may learn.  Teachers cannot expect their students to learn if the teacher has not first learned the material that is being presented.

There are five steps to learning that will benefit every teacher.

1.  Believe that you can learn.

2. Intend to learn

3. Give yourself time to learn

4. Give yourself a chance to learn

5. Know the purpose of your learning
